Q2 2025 Performance of Top Maps and Navigation Apps in Germany

In the second quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation apps in Germany showed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 70K in early April and peaking at nearly 120K by the end of June. Its weekly active users also saw a notable rise, reaching over 1.4M by the end of the quarter.

Blitzer.de maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue starting at $146K and fluctuating to around $149K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 40K weekly, while active users peaked at over 2.6M in early April.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed steady growth in downloads, climbing from about 40K to 55K weekly by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 1M to over 1.2M during the same period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw download numbers fluctuate between 23K and 40K weekly, while active users reached a high of approximately 832K.

Satellite View - Maps - Radar observed a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $632 in early May. Downloads were highest in April at 22K, tapering off to about 11K by June. Active users rose from around 10K to over 30K by the end of the quarter.
